ConnecTeen — Social Group for Neurodiverse Teens (Aurora, CO)
About This Group
ConnecTeen is a free monthly social group for neurodiverse teenagers, hosted at the Autism Community Store in Aurora. The program is designed to give teens on the autism spectrum a safe, relaxed space to hang out with peers who understand them. In a world where social situations can feel overwhelming, ConnecTeen offers a low-pressure environment where teens can be themselves, practice social skills naturally, and build genuine friendships.
What to Expect
ConnecTeen meets the first Saturday of every month from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Autism Community Store. Each session is facilitated in a sensory-friendly environment and may include games, creative activities, conversation, and just hanging out. There is no curriculum or pressure to participate in a specific way — teens can engage at their own comfort level. Facilitators are experienced with the autism community and create a welcoming, judgment-free atmosphere.
Who It’s For
Neurodiverse teenagers, including those on the autism spectrum, with ADHD, or other neurodivergent conditions. The group is designed for teens who want to connect with peers in a safe social setting.
