Free Caregiver Support for Adults with SMI - Colorado | Caregivers Compass
About This Group
Mental Health Colorado, founded in 1953, is a nonprofit, nonpartisan advocacy organization working to promote well-being and ensure access to healthcare, housing, and services for Coloradans across the lifespan. Caregivers Compass is its weekly support group built specifically for parents and caregivers of adults living with serious mental illness (SMI).
Ways to Find Support
This weekly virtual group gives parents and caregivers a place to share and process their experiences together, problem-solve, and think through potential interventions. It also gives participants a direct line to people from different programs, including prominent state leaders in behavioral health, who join to listen to what adults with SMI and their loved ones actually experience while trying to access quality healthcare, supports, and services in Colorado.
Who This Is For
Parents and caregivers of adults living with serious mental illness, anywhere in Colorado.
How to Join
Call 720-208-2220 or register through Mental Health Colorado’s website to join the weekly meeting. For more free options, see the Colorado support groups directory on The Group Guide.
