Free Dwarfism & Achondroplasia Support - Colorado | LPA Front Range
About This Group
Little People of America (LPA), founded in 1957, is the nation’s oldest and largest organization supporting people with dwarfism, including achondroplasia, the most common form. The Front Range Chapter is Colorado’s local chapter within LPA’s District 10, which also covers Arizona, New Mexico, Utah, Wyoming, and El Paso, Texas.
Ways to Find Support
The Front Range Chapter organizes social events and connects Colorado families throughout the year, with support from LPA’s national programs: a quarterly newsletter, seminars and workshops at chapter events and District Meetings, an annual national conference, and the Dwarf Athletic Association of America for sports. LPA has previously hosted its District 10 Spring Regional conference in Denver.
Who This Is For
People with dwarfism, including achondroplasia, and their families, anywhere in Colorado. LPA members range from newborns to senior citizens, both little people and average-height family members.
