Teen Eating Disorder Support Group
This group is for teens ages 13–18 who are struggling with an eating disorder, food-related anxiety, body image concerns, or a difficult relationship with food and movement. It’s a space for teens who want to feel less alone, connect with others who understand what they’re going through, and work toward greater freedom around food and their bodies.
This group is best suited for teens who are medically stable and able to participate in an outpatient level of care. Teens who need more intensive support, medical monitoring, or a higher level of eating disorder treatment may be better served by a specialized treatment program before joining the group. We can talk through whether this group is the right fit during a free 15-minute consultation.
I’m Hannah Moore, LPC, and I specialize in working with teens and young adults navigating eating disorders, body image concerns, anxiety, and trauma. I have experience working in residential and partial hospitalization eating disorder treatment settings, and I’m passionate about helping people build a more peaceful relationship with food, movement, and their bodies.
Your first time: The first group is an opportunity to get comfortable, meet the other group members, and learn what to expect. There’s no pressure to share anything you aren’t ready to talk about. We’ll spend time getting to know one another, discussing what support can look like, and building a space where everyone feels heard and understood. The goal is to help you feel comfortable showing up as you are, at your own pace.
