Free Parkinson's Support Groups - Colorado & Wyoming | PAR
About This Group
Parkinson Association of the Rockies (PAR) has provided direct care to Colorado’s Parkinson’s community since 1981, including support groups, exercise classes, and an information line for people living with Parkinson’s, their families, and care partners. PAR is an independent nonprofit, not affiliated with a national organization, and it runs more than 50 monthly support groups across Colorado and Wyoming.
Ways to Find Support
PAR’s network includes dedicated patient-side groups, care partner-only groups, and a Young Onset Parkinson’s Program for people diagnosed earlier in life. Groups meet in cities across both states at places like senior centers, therapy clinics, and community rooms, in-person, virtual, or hybrid depending on location. Because local schedules shift, PAR’s own guidance is to check its current list or call the office before attending for the first time.
Who This Is For
Adults living with Parkinson’s disease in Colorado or Wyoming, including those newly diagnosed and those with young-onset Parkinson’s. This listing covers PAR’s patient-side groups. PAR’s separate care partner groups are listed on The Group Guide as their own entry.
