Free Native American Talking Circles - Denver Metro | CCH
About This Group
Native American Services (NAS) at the Colorado Coalition for the Homeless has facilitated Talking Circles since 2003, alongside culturally-celebratory programming for the Denver metro area’s Indigenous community. Talking Circles are considered a sacred space where Native peoples share information and stories confidentially to promote healing and build community.
Ways to Find Support
Weekly Talking Circles bring together Native peoples from a wide spectrum of Nations for support, sobriety, and connection to culture and resources, with shared stories of recovery from substance use as well as healing from physical and mental health challenges, and complementary food. NAS also offers Red Road to Wellbriety recovery groups and classes twice a year, plus a calendar of seasonal events, outings, and celebrations throughout the year.
Who This Is For
Native American and Indigenous adults who are sober and willing to follow traditional Talking Circle rules, in the Denver metro area. No referral is needed.
