Free Chronic Pain Support Group, Online, Nationwide | Life to the Fullest
Life to the Fullest is a free support group and workshop for people living with ongoing pain. It was started by Tina Hardenbergh, who was diagnosed with fibromyalgia 16 years ago after a long run of tests and treatments that did not help. The group grew out of her experience that pain is lonely and hard to explain to people who have not lived it.
What to Expect
The group calls itself “more than your average support group” and runs as a workshop. Subject meetings happen twice a month on Saturday mornings, with a topic such as identifying triggers or self-compassion, light homework sent by email beforehand, and guest speakers from time to time. On the Tuesday after each subject meeting there is a phone-only support call where members talk through current challenges and successes. Ground rules: listen without interrupting, no medical advice or unsolicited opinions, keep what is shared private, and support rather than compare.
Who This Group Is For
Adults living with any level of ongoing pain, including fibromyalgia, who want to be understood and connect with others on a similar path. This group is open nationwide.
