About This Group
NAMI Family Support Group is a free, peer-led group for any adult with a loved one who has experienced symptoms of a mental health condition. It is run by NAMI Western Slope, the Grand Junction based affiliate of the National Alliance on Mental Illness, and facilitated by trained family members who have been there themselves.
What to Expect
A confidential circle where family members, partners, and friends can speak honestly about the worry, exhaustion, and love that come with supporting someone through mental illness, and pick up practical wisdom from people further down the road.
Who This Is For
Parents, spouses, siblings, adult children, and close friends of someone living with a mental health condition. The person you care about does not need to be in treatment for you to come.
