About This Group

The Southwest Colorado Multiple Sclerosis Society (SWCMSS) is a 501(c)3 nonprofit, founded in 1985, serving people living with MS and their caregivers across La Plata, Montezuma, Archuleta, Dolores, and San Juan counties.

What to Expect

SWCMSS hosts Social with a Side of Support, an informal monthly gathering at Durango Joes Coffee. The group meets the third Thursday of each month from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM in a reserved private room. SWCMSS treats attendees to a beverage and food item while the group talks through MS and everyday life together, so there is no cost to attend.

Who This Is For

People living with MS and their caregivers in Southwest Colorado. SWCMSS also offers one on one support for anyone who would rather talk individually than join the group.
