Free CHADD of California ADHD Peer Support — In-Person & Virtual

CHADD of California is the statewide CHADD chapter serving adults with ADHD, parents of children with ADHD, and family members across California. The chapter is part of the national CHADD network and is run by trained peer leaders alongside professionals who consult on programming.

What to Expect

Confidential one-hour peer support meetings where attendees share experiences, executive-function strategies, and recovery progress with others living with ADHD. Meetings combine peer connection with ADHD-specific tools — body doubling, time-blocking, planner systems, medication conversations, accommodations at work and school, and managing co-occurring anxiety or depression. Meetings are not therapy; they are mutual peer support that complements clinical care.

Meeting Formats

CHADD of California hosts both virtual and in-person support groups, with rotating topics. Some meetings are open drop-in; others are topic-focused series (parenting a child with ADHD, adult women with ADHD, late-diagnosis adults). Check the chapter’s current calendar at chadd.net/chapter/california.

Who This Is For

California adults with ADHD (or suspected ADHD), parents and caregivers of children or teens with ADHD, partners of adults with ADHD, and adult family members affected by ADHD in the household. No diagnosis required to attend.
