Free Central Florida CHADD ADHD Peer Support — Orlando Area
Central Florida CHADD serves adults with ADHD and families across the Orlando metropolitan area and surrounding Central Florida region. Based in Apopka, the chapter has provided peer support, education, and advocacy for the Central Florida ADHD community for years.
What to Expect
Monthly peer support meetings cover practical ADHD strategies — executive function, time management, sleep, medication conversations, navigating school IEPs and 504 plans for children with ADHD, work accommodations under the ADA, and managing co-occurring conditions like anxiety and depression. Both adult-focused meetings and parent meetings run on regular schedules.
Meeting Formats
In-person meetings at Central Florida venues plus virtual meetings via Zoom for members across the broader region (Orlando, Winter Park, Apopka, Sanford, Kissimmee, and beyond). Check chadd.net/chapter/401 for the current monthly schedule and venue information.
Who This Is For
Central Florida adults with ADHD, parents and caregivers of children or teens with ADHD, partners of adults with ADHD, and adult family members affected by ADHD in the household. No diagnosis required to attend.
