CHADD Mississippi Chapters – ADHD Support
About This Group
CHADD (Children and Adults with Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder) Mississippi chapters provide education, support, and advocacy for individuals with ADHD and their families. CHADD support groups offer a welcoming environment where adults with ADHD, parents of children with ADHD, and educators can learn about the condition, share strategies for managing symptoms, and connect with others who understand the unique challenges of living with ADHD. Meetings feature guest speakers, educational presentations, and peer support discussions.
What to Expect
CHADD meetings typically last 60 to 90 minutes and combine educational content with peer support. Meetings may feature presentations by local professionals (psychologists, psychiatrists, educators, coaches) on topics such as medication management, behavioral strategies, school accommodations, workplace challenges, and relationship skills. Following presentations, attendees have the opportunity to ask questions and share their own experiences. Both in-person and virtual meeting options may be available depending on the chapter. New members are welcome at any meeting.
