Free Turner Syndrome Family Support - Colorado | Turner Syndrome CO
About This Group
Turner Syndrome Colorado started in 2010 when a handful of families gathered at a park to share their stories, including a woman in her 40s who had never met another person with Turner syndrome in her life. Originally a support group under the national Turner Syndrome Society, it became its own independent nonprofit in 2016 and now supports the eXtraordinarY Kids Turner Syndrome Clinic at Children’s Hospital Colorado.
Ways to Find Support
Turner Syndrome Colorado connects girls, women, and families year-round through its Facebook community and email list, with an in-person gathering and fundraising walk held every other year to celebrate loved ones with Turner syndrome and meet other families. This is a smaller, community-connection model rather than a fixed weekly or monthly meeting, so following along online is the best way to hear about the next gathering.
Who This Is For
Girls, women, and families affected by Turner syndrome anywhere in Colorado, including those who have never met another person with the condition.
