ShareWell — Free Online Autism Support Groups for Adults

Nationwide
Enrolling now

ShareWell is a free online peer support platform hosting a variety of support groups for adults navigating autism and neurodivergent experiences. Their autism-focused groups are facilitated by peer supporters — adults with lived experience — who create welcoming, structured sessions grounded in mutual understanding rather than clinical distance.

ShareWell’s autism groups cover topics that matter most to autistic adults: sensory experiences, masking and burnout, employment challenges, relationships, self-advocacy, and simply the experience of existing in a neurotypical world. Sessions are held entirely online, making them accessible from anywhere without the barriers of transportation, scheduling, or social overwhelm that in-person settings can create.

Drop-in attendance is welcome — no registration or long-term commitment is required. You can join a single session to try it out, or return regularly as a community home base. The platform operates from a neurodiversity-affirming framework that sees autism as a different — not lesser — way of experiencing the world.

ShareWell also hosts groups for ADHD, anxiety, grief, and other topics, making it a versatile resource for neurodivergent adults with multiple support needs. Groups run weekly, and the platform’s scheduling tool makes it easy to find sessions that fit your availability.

Who it’s for: Autistic adults and neurodivergent individuals seeking peer connection and support in an affirming, low-barrier online environment.

Format: Virtual • Cost: Free • Frequency: Weekly • Attendance: Drop-in, no registration required
