Free LGBTQ+ Family Support Groups - Denver | PFLAG Denver
About This Group
PFLAG Denver was founded in 1980, when 35 parents and family members met to organize a local chapter, and has served the Denver metro area ever since. It offers twice-monthly peer support sessions, in person and online, for LGBTQIA+ people and the people who love them.
What to Expect
Current groups include STAND, an in-person peer-led space for parents strengthening their relationship with an LGBTQIA2S+ child, SOFFA Online for significant others, family, friends, and allies, and SOS Online for people whose partner, spouse, or co-parent is trans, nonbinary, gender nonconforming, or newly out. In the chapter’s words, if you forget to register, come anyway, we’ll have a chair ready for you.
Who This Is For
Parents, family members, partners, friends, and allies of LGBTQIA+ people, and LGBTQIA+ people themselves, at any point in the journey.
How to Join
Monthly registration is encouraged through pflagdenver.org, where current dates, times, and locations are posted. For more free options, see the Colorado support groups directory on The Group Guide.
