Free OCPD Peer Support Group - Online, Nationwide
About This Group
The International OCPD Foundation raises awareness of obsessive-compulsive personality disorder (OCPD), sometimes called anankastic personality disorder, and works to lower the stigma around it. OCPD involves a rigid adherence to rules, an overwhelming need for order and control, and difficulty delegating to others, and it is distinct from OCD.
Ways to Find Support
The “You, Me & OCPD!” discussion group, peer-facilitated by Greg Brooks, meets online every 2nd and 4th Thursday of the month for people navigating the everyday realities of OCPD. The group welcomes anyone with a formal diagnosis as well as those who recognize individual traits in themselves, such as getting lost in details, and it’s also open to loved ones who want to better understand what someone with OCPD is experiencing. Updates and scheduling changes are posted through the Foundation’s linked Facebook, Reddit, and Discord communities.
Who This Is For
People with OCPD, whether formally diagnosed or self-identifying with individual traits, and their loved ones, anywhere in the U.S. including Colorado. The group is conducted in English and welcomes international participants.
