About This Group

Mount Evans Home Health Care and Hospice, the nonprofit serving Colorado’s mountain communities around Evergreen, Conifer, Clear Creek, and Gilpin counties, runs a free monthly support group for family caregivers, part of emotional support services provided by professionally trained and licensed social workers.

What to Expect

In the organization’s words, the monthly group gives those caring for a loved one a place for emotional support, help navigating the health care system, and time with others who are walking the same path. Caregiving in the mountains carries its own weight: distance from services, winter roads, and isolation. This room is built for exactly that.

Anyone caring for a loved one, whether through aging, illness, or end of life, in the mountain corridor and foothills.

How to Join

Meets every 3rd Wednesday, 12:00 to 1:30 PM, at Mount Evans, 3081 Bergen Peak Drive, Evergreen. Free to attend. Call 303-674-6400 with questions.
