Free Marfan Syndrome Support Groups - National | Marfan Foundation
About This Group
The Marfan Foundation supports people with Marfan syndrome, Loeys-Dietz syndrome, vascular Ehlers-Danlos syndrome, and related genetic aortic and vascular conditions. Founded in 1981, the Foundation offers everything from large community events to one-on-one mentor connections.
Ways to Find Support
Virtual support groups meet at least once a month over Zoom and are organized by life stage and situation: groups exist for ages 18 to 30, ages 20 to 50, ages 50 and up, and teens 13 to 18, plus condition-specific and mental-health-focused groups. A social worker often facilitates, and many members exchange contact information so conversations continue between meetings. The Foundation can also connect you with local community groups or an individual support volunteer if one exists near you, and its Walks for Victory events happen in cities around the country.
Who This Is For
People with Marfan syndrome, Loeys-Dietz syndrome, vascular Ehlers-Danlos syndrome, or a related condition, and their family members, anywhere in the U.S. including Colorado.
How to Join
