Free Lupus Support Group - Colorado Statewide Virtual | Lupus Foundation
About This Group
The Lupus Foundation of America runs a Colorado statewide virtual support group that, in the foundation’s words, provides a welcoming space for lupus warriors and their loved ones across Colorado to come together, share experiences, and find encouragement.
What to Expect
Monthly hour-long Zoom gatherings with others who understand the lupus journey, a disease that affects more than 30,000 Coloradans, 90 percent of them women, with People of Color three times more likely to be diagnosed. The foundation also offers national specialty groups over Zoom, including a group conducted entirely in Spanish.
Local Support Beyond the Group
Lupus Colorado, the state’s own nonprofit serving the lupus community since 1972, adds practical support no national group can: emergency financial assistance for prescriptions and medical visits, utility bill help, a Stanford evidence-based self-management education program, and a newsletter. Reach them at 303-597-4050 or info@lupuscolorado.org.
How to Join
The Colorado statewide group meets the 2nd Saturday of most months, 3:00 to 4:00 PM Mountain Time, with 2026 dates published through December. Register free at lupus.org under Find Support Near You. For more free options, see the Colorado support groups directory on The Group Guide.
