Held in Love: Circle for Grieving Mothers
Held in Love is a weekly circle for mothers who have lost a child. You do not have to find the right words, be strong, or be ready to move forward. Here, you can arrive exactly as you are, whether your loss is recent or many years ago.
The circle offers compassionate listening without pressure to share or receive advice. There is room for memories, silence, tears, and whatever you are feeling. Gentle grounding invitations are always optional, and each mother’s story, beliefs, and pace are respected.
This is not about leaving your child behind. It is about being accompanied as you carry your love.
What to expect
The group meets every Tuesday at 8:00 PM Eastern on Zoom for 60 minutes. It is free. Before your first circle, you will have a personal conversation with Dr. Verena Young to ask questions and explore whether this space feels right for you. Dr. Young holds the circle and asks everyone to respect one another’s privacy and not record or share other mothers’ stories. Held in Love is a supportive circle, not psychotherapy, medical care, or crisis support.
