Free Glycogen Storage Disease Family Support - National | AGSD
About This Group
The Association for Glycogen Storage Disease (AGSD) was established in 1979 by parents and individuals with glycogen storage disease (GSD), a group of inherited conditions affecting how the body stores and releases glycogen. AGSD is advised by a team of experienced medical professionals and remains a parent- and patient-oriented support group at its core.
Ways to Find Support
AGSD hosts an annual conference in a different U.S. city each year, bringing together individuals with GSD, their families, and the medical professionals who care for them, for shared meals, presentations, and connection. Families often form lasting friendships through the conference, and children get to meet others who share their experience with GSD, sometimes for the first time.
Who This Is For
Individuals and families affected by any type of glycogen storage disease, anywhere in the U.S. including Colorado.
How to Join
