Free Suicide Loss Support Group - Louisiana | VIA LINK
About This Group
VIA LINK runs a free, weekly peer support group for adults across Louisiana who are grieving the loss of a loved one to suicide. VIA LINK is a Louisiana nonprofit best known for its 2-1-1 helpline and crisis services, and this group is one of its ongoing community support offerings.
What to Expect
The group meets every Tuesday from 6:00 to 7:30 p.m. Central Time over Zoom, so it is open to participants anywhere in Louisiana. Sessions are facilitated by Sherrard Crespo, LCSW, and focus on sharing, listening, and mutual support rather than clinical treatment.
Who This Is For
This group is open to adults age 18 and older who have lost a loved one to suicide. There is no cost to attend.
How to Join
Email VIA LINK to request the Zoom link and let the facilitator know you plan to attend. For crisis support in the meantime, Louisiana residents can also call 2-1-1 or dial 988. For more free options, see the Louisiana support groups directory on The Group Guide.
