Free Pregnancy Loss & Infertility Peer Support — Online MA | Empty Arms

Empty Arms Bereavement Support is a Massachusetts-based nonprofit offering warm, peer-led community for individuals and families experiencing the loss of a pregnancy or an infant, as well as those navigating infertility. The organization supports people whose babies have died through miscarriage, stillbirth, early infant death, or termination for medical reasons, along with those facing the grief that can accompany the struggle to conceive.

What to Expect

All meetings are currently held online via Zoom, making support accessible from anywhere in Massachusetts. Empty Arms offers a wide range of groups so members can find the space that fits their experience, including an Infertility and Loss Support Group, miscarriage and early pregnancy loss, stillbirth and neonatal loss, termination for medical reasons, twin loss, parenting after loss, and groups for dads, Spanish speakers, and BIPOC and LGBTQ+ families. Groups are peer-led, confidential, and centered on shared experience.

Who This Group Is For

The groups welcome individuals and families grieving a pregnancy or infant loss and those experiencing infertility. Most groups are intended for people living in Massachusetts, while the TFMR, LGBTQ+, and BIPOC groups are open to participants anywhere. All support is free.

Why Peer Support Works

Pregnancy loss and infertility are often grieved in silence, surrounded by well-meaning people who do not know what to say. Being among others who have lived the same loss offers a rare and powerful validation. Peer support reminds members they are not alone, that their grief is real, and that healing can happen in community.

How to Join

All groups are free. To get connected, complete the contact form at emptyarmsbereavement.org, and a staff member will help match you with the right group and share the Zoom details.
