Free NAMI Connection Recovery Support Group in Grand Junction
About This Group
NAMI Connection is a free, peer-led support group for any adult who has experienced symptoms of a mental health condition, run locally by NAMI Western Slope, the Grand Junction based affiliate of the National Alliance on Mental Illness. Facilitators are trained peers who live with mental health conditions themselves.
What to Expect
A confidential group built on shared experience, not lectures. People talk about what is working, what is hard, and how they are moving forward, following the NAMI Connection model used across the country.
Who This Is For
Any adult living with a mental health condition, with or without a diagnosis, at any point in recovery. No referral or paperwork is needed.
How to Join
Groups meet on the second Monday of every month at 6:30 pm at 422 White Ave, basement level, in Grand Junction. Questions can go to NAMI Western Slope at 970-462-3989 or NAMIWesternSlope@gmail.com.
