Family and Friends Support Groups for Hoarding Behavior (California)
The Mental Health Association of San Francisco offers two free, therapist-led online support groups for people who love someone with hoarding behavior: one for spouses, siblings, parents, other family and friends, and one just for adult children of parents who hoard.
What to Expect
A therapist leads each meeting. It is a place to talk about the stress, worry and conflict that can come with a loved one’s hoarding, learn more about the behavior, and hear from others in the same spot.
Meeting Details
Family and Friends group: 1st Tuesday of each month, 6:00 to 7:30 pm (Pacific). Adult Children of Parents with Hoarding Behavior group: 3rd Tuesday of each month, 6:00 to 7:30 pm (Pacific). Both meet on Zoom and are free for California residents.
Who This Group Is For
Adults in California who have a family member or friend with hoarding behavior, including adult children of a parent who hoards. You need to live in California.
