BPD Peer Support Group
About This Group
The BPD Peer Support Group is an open, welcoming space for anyone living with or impacted by borderline personality disorder. Created by people with lived experience and grounded in peer recovery principles, this group helps reduce social isolation, promotes self-advocacy, and offers a sense of community and hope. Participants share educational resources, coping strategies, and personal experiences in a supportive environment where everyone’s journey is respected.
What to Expect
Sessions are 75 minutes long and held online via Zoom. Each meeting is co-facilitated by two trained volunteers who have personal experience with BPD. The atmosphere is nonjudgmental and supportive — sharing is encouraged but never required. The first 30 participants are admitted per session on a first-come, first-served basis, so joining a few minutes early is recommended. Emotions Matter offers 10–12 of these general peer support groups per month, giving you flexible options to find a time that works.
