On September 29, 2026, My Therapy Groups became The Group Guide. Same directory, same team, same free search. Only the name changed.
Why the new name
When I started this directory it listed therapy groups, and the name said so. Over the past year the listings have grown well past that: peer support, grief groups, recovery meetings, parenting classes, caregiver circles, book clubs, and community groups of every kind. The old name only described part of what is here. The Group Guide describes all of it: a place to find a group, whatever kind of group you are looking for.
What stays the same
The directory is still free to search. Group leaders still write their own listings. I still check listing details against each group’s own website before they go live, and the site still does not vet, supervise, or endorse any group. The company behind the site is the same Colorado LLC, now doing business as The Group Guide.
What to update on your end
Nothing is required. Every mytherapygroups.com link, bookmark, and QR code redirects to the same page on thegroupguide.com. If you link to us from your own site or materials, updating the link to thegroupguide.com is appreciated but not necessary.
If you email us, contact@thegroupguide.com is the new address. The old one still forwards.
Questions
