About Codependency Support Groups
Codependency involves patterns of excessive focus on others’ needs at the expense of one’s own wellbeing, often developing in families affected by addiction, abuse, or dysfunction. Support groups provide education, peer accountability, and a space to build healthier relationship patterns.
Types of Groups Available
Groups include 12-step programs such as Al-Anon and CoDA (Codependents Anonymous), as well as professionally facilitated therapy groups addressing codependency, people-pleasing, and enmeshment. Both in-person and virtual options are available.
